I will be transitioning into assistant professorship at University of Texas at Austin in February 2021, and will be actively looking for graduate students. If you are interested in the opportunity, please check out my university lab-page and reach out!
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) department at UC Berkeley. I work with Prof. Laura Waller as a part of her Computational Imaging Laboratory, which specializes in designing imaging systems and algorithms jointly in terms of hardware and software.
I am interested in developing the next generation of optical imaging technologies that utilize computational techniques to augment optics hardware and enable drastic improvements in imaging resolution, speed, throughput, and simplicity. Current specific projects that I am pursuing include multi-dimensional imaging and big-data inversion for optical super-resolution and diffraction tomography. I received my Ph.D. in 2017 from Duke University, where I worked in the Biomedical Engineering Department in the Biophotonics Group, under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Izatt. My doctoral thesis, which explored structured illumination microscopy as a solution for multimodal 3D super-resolution, was in many ways a nice precursor to my work now as a postdoc. I will be moving to University of Texas Austin in February, 2021, and am actively scouting graduate students and post-docs. If you are interested in the opportunity and would like to chat, please drop me a line :) |
